They are still there. Praça Republics is full of children living on the street. This one, is 13 years old.

This blog speaks of São Paulo's urban over population problem focused until now on the housing and land problem. Over sixty-five percent of a population close to 20 million lives in the periphery similar to Dhaka, Mumbai, Mexico City and Lagos. Or this is an urban blog of where I am at the moment.
